Dr. Saeideh Babaee is a lecturer at the University of Witwatersrand with a passion for Carbon Capture, Hydrogen Storage, Energy Sustainability, and water treatment. Dr. Babaee’s scholarly journey is marked by numerous publications in reputable journals and contributions to important conferences with 673 citations and 18 h-index to date. Her publications in accredited journal papers have given her the reputation of being selected as a reviewer by different ISI journals. She has been selected as a Y2 NRF-rated researcher from the National Research Foundation in South Africa in 2023. She has been awarded the Friedel Sellschop Fellowship for 2024-2027 for her work on hydrogen storage solutions. She is also an Editorial Board Member of the American Journal of Chemical Engineering. She is a member of the “Horizons Institute Global Crucible Programme” which is held by Horizons Institute, University of Leeds in the United Kingdom, 2023.
