We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Emmanuel Oke, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the SIMMET Research Group, has been honoured with the prestigious “WITS Most Published Postdoctoral Fellow/Early Career Researcher Award” by Springer Nature. This award recognises Dr. Oke’s exceptional contributions to scientific literature, with three publications in Springer Nature journals within an impressive 18-month period.
This recognition was presented during the 2024 WITS Open Access Week Seminars, held on 31 October at Wits University’s Braamfontein Campus. The event celebrated the achievements of WITS researchers and their dedication to advancing knowledge through open-access publishing.
